GatherTime is a service for sharing photos and videos at a private event. A host creates a Gathering, invites guests, and guests contribute Moments (photos, videos, audio). Approved Moments may appear in the Gathering's Story and on a screen at the venue, operated by a GJ (the operator who runs the live show at the venue).
GatherTime is currently offered for invite-only pilot events. There is no public or open signup, and Gatherings are not published to the internet.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use GatherTime only with the permission of a parent or guardian. You confirm your age when you join.
You create an account by accepting an invitation from a host. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@gathertime.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You do not transfer copyright to us.
You grant GOTIM, LLC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, adapt (for example, to generate thumbnails, previews, and screen-ready versions), and display your Moments for the purpose of operating the service for the Gathering you uploaded them to and for your own Vault. This license exists so the product can function; it ends when you delete the content, except for copies that remain in backups for a limited period, and except where another participant has legitimately retained a copy.
We do not sell your content. We do not use your Moments to advertise, and we do not license them to third parties.
You agree not to upload content that:
The Content & Moderation Policy sets out what is never permitted and how reports are handled.
The host of a Gathering (and any co-host or GJ they designate) decides what appears in the Gathering's Story and on the venue screen. They may decline, remove, or reorder Moments at any time, for any reason, without notice to you.
A Moment that is not shown is not a judgement about you. Your original upload always remains in your personal Vault.
Hosts and GJs agree to exercise this control reasonably and to respect the expectations of the people at their event.
Photos and videos of you may be uploaded by other guests. If something about you is shared and you want it removed, use the in-app report action or ask the host directly; hosts can remove any Moment from their Gathering.
GatherTime is provided as-is during pilots. Events are live and unrepeatable; we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and network conditions at a venue are outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve uploaded content but you should not treat GatherTime as your only copy of anything.
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe puts other participants at risk.
GatherTime is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Still being finalized. A liability limitation appropriate to a free pilot belongs in this section and has not yet been drafted by counsel. Until it is, nothing here is intended to waive any right you have under Maryland or federal law that cannot lawfully be waived.
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice in the app before they take effect, and we will move the effective date shown at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Maryland, USA, and both parties consent to that venue.
